Who is a Green Scene Vendor?
Vendors at previous events have included artists, crafters, carpenters, tie-dyers, the National Park volunteer coordinator, and the La Junta Clothing Exchange from Alpine. Bakers, tamal-makers, jewelers, potters and prism builders. Texas Master Naturalists program was represented.
Hopefully they will all return this year! We invite vendors who share our vision of a more sustainable, practical world that is reflected in the items they are selling or information they are sharing. Both private individuals and businesses may register as a vendor. This is your opportunity to show everyone how "Green" you are or are becoming! Support our cause and sell your product, too!
Vendor space is on a first come, first served basis. If you have a self contained, sturdy shade structure, we'll have designated vendor setup areas throughout the Ghost Town. All tents/canopies must be securely tied down!
This is a pedestrian/bicycle friendly event and parking may be limited! The online site map will show the location. Our website is mobile friendly, ready for phones and tablets.
Drinking water will be provided for free at multiple water stations. We encourage everyone in your party to bring their own reusable water container or purchase an official GREEN SCENE stainless steel cup.
Fees:
Both private individuals and businesses may register as a vendor at the Festival for just $35. Non-profit groups/charities are not required to pay the fee.
Deadline:
ALL vendors must register by October 1st, 2018 to participate in the Festival on Saturday, October 27th, 2018. You'll be notified by email of your acceptance by October 10th. If you have not heard from us by then, contact us immediately!
Checks should be made payable to: BBCA - Green Scene.
Location:
The Terlingua Ghost Town. You must provide your own setup from your needs: i.e. tables, chairs, signs etc. Sorry, but there will be no equipment available for your personal use.
Time:
The GREEN SCENE is an all-day event, with demonstrations beginning at 11 AM. Vendors may begin setting up as early as 8 AM on the day of the festival. All vendors will be assigned a location upon approval of your registration. We'll consider and help with any special needs at that time. Vendors should not begin to dismantle their booths until 5PM. Bring your own table and chairs and sturdy shade structure.
Parking:
Vendors will have reserved, assigned parking areas near the festival. There will be volunteer help to setup and breakdown, please ask for help.
